Flit is a digital marketplace platform connecting users with independent third-party service providers. Flit does not own or operate service vehicles or assets.
Your Data & Rights
Flit processes personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), GDPR-aligned standards, and Google Play User Data policies.
Location Data
Flit collects and processes location data to enable essential app features such as connecting users with nearby service providers, facilitating pickups and deliveries, and improving overall service accuracy.
Types of Location Data Collected
- Precise Location: Includes GPS-based location data that provides exact geographic positioning.
- Approximate Location: Includes location derived from Wi-Fi, mobile networks, or IP address, which provides a general geographic area.
How We Use Location Data
- To match users with nearby service providers in real time
- To display accurate pickup, delivery, and navigation routes
- To improve service reliability, safety, and user experience
Background Location Access
Flit may access location data in the background (even when the app is not actively in use) to support continuous service features such as live trip tracking, real-time updates, and safety monitoring.
This background access is only used when necessary to deliver core app functionality and improve service reliability. Flit does not use background location data for unrelated purposes such as advertising.
User Consent and Control
In line with Google Play policies, Flit requests location permissions only when needed and provides clear in-app disclosures explaining how your location data will be used.
You have full control over location permissions and can enable, disable, or limit access (e.g., allow only while using the app) at any time through your device settings.
Please note that disabling location access may affect the functionality of certain features within the app.
